Round Rock is a city of more than 133,000 people in Williamson County, sitting about 20 miles north of downtown Austin along Interstate 35. The city grew quickly through the 1990s and 2000s, driven largely by the arrival of Dell Technologies, which still headquartered here and brings a large, stable workforce to the area. The median household income in Round Rock is well above the Texas state average, and about 60 percent of housing units are owner-occupied - the kind of community where homeowners invest in keeping their properties in good shape and expect quality work when they hire a contractor.
The housing stock is concentrated in the 1990s-to-2010s range, with brick veneer exteriors common across subdivisions throughout the city. Planned communities like Teravista, Forest Creek, and Chandler Creek make up a large share of the residential landscape and carry HOA guidelines that set standards for exterior appearance. The city is still growing - new neighborhoods continue to develop north of Highway 29 and on the east side of town. Old Settlers Park, with its 600 acres of sports fields and trails, anchors the community calendar and is a landmark nearly every Round Rock family knows. We also serve homeowners in Georgetown, TX to the north and in Pflugerville, TX to the south, where the housing age, soil conditions, and subdivision character are very similar to Round Rock.
